Photo Favorite: Sun and Moon Pagodas at Night in Guilin, China

When I visited Yanghsuo, I had a chance to explore Guilin on a few brief occasions.

Guilin is a city that is known throughout China for its beautiful trees, rivers and lakes. The twin pagodas as they are know, are located in the middle of Shan Lake in central Guilin. They represent the sun and the moon.

The pagodas were nice to see during the day, but I thought they were even more beautiful at night with the shimmering reflections off the water.
