It looked a little like the Burmese yellow tofu salad, but I later found out it’s a Tibetan cold spicy noodle dish known as “laping.”

Dear Mark, Thanks for the blog and video about “Laping”. It’s my favourite and very popular in Tibet. We have white Laping and Yellow Laping. Both are spicy chilly and can serve in hot or cold. If you get a chance to visit Lhasa, I will take you to taste many traditional and street food in Lhasa, Tibet. Thanks again!
We warmly welcome you to visit Tibet after the COVID 19!

Hey Mark, very nice! Love all your trip videos and really jealous 🙂 I love Tibetan and Nepali people and food. Any body wants to try this at home… I just found this video that might help Laping using potatoes- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DY9sMVLg2rg

Mark,
Have you visited Tibet last year 2015? I don’t see any Tibet videos.

Hi mark, I travel quite a lot too but I dare not eat street food freely like you do. (esp in Nepal)
Many of my friends who visited Nepal suffered from serious diarrhea. Any experience with diarrhea?

I love noodles and just seeing it is making me want some. Laping is one tasty dish but never tried it. But had something similar in North East India.
