VIDEO: Fire Roasted Pig Intestines in Nagaland

By Mark Wiens 3 Comments

Nagaland, located in Northeastern India, is a fascinating land. While I was there, I was able to eat lots of home cooked Nagaland food, including some tasty fire roasted pig intestines with Grandpa!

Here’s the video:

Thank you for watching!

(If you can’s see it, watch it on YouTube here)

The pig intestines were basically just skewered on pieces of bamboo, set into the flames of the fire and roasted until nice and black and charred on the outside.

They oozed with greasy flavor and were quite tasty, but I’ve got to say that I prefer chicken intestins!
